ATTALLA, AL - Etowah Chamber, along with the City of Attalla, recently joined The Chill Spot to celebrate its one-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting and community event.
Since opening in 2023, The Chill Spot has quickly become a local favorite for sweet treats, offering ice cream, shaved ice, brownie sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, and more. In addition to its shop on 5th Avenue, The Chill Spot also operates a mobile snow cone truck, serving events throughout the community.
At the celebration, The Chill Spot thanked its customers, the Chamber, and city leaders for their continued support. “We wouldn’t have made it this far without our amazing customers and the support of the Chamber, the City of Attalla, and Downtown Attalla,” said the owner. “We love each and every one of you and look forward to serving our community for years to come.”
The Chamber highlighted The Chill Spot’s first year in business as an example of the importance of supporting small businesses in Etowah County. “Ribbon cuttings like this not only celebrate milestones, but also recognize the role local businesses play in strengthening our community and economy,” said [Chamber representative].
The anniversary event featured free goodies, games for kids, and fun giveaways, making it a true community celebration.
The Chill Spot is located at 319 5th Avenue NW in Attalla and is open Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and closed on Sunday and Monday.
