DRF is a non-profit organization serving a five county area including Etowah, Marshall, DeKalab, St. Clair, and Cherokee in northeast Alabama. Our home office is located in Gadsden, AL in Etowah County, on the Broad Street Campus of Gadsden State Community College. We started assisting people with disabilities find, obtain, and secure competitive employment in 1957. The Foundation is a Community Rehabilitation Program partnering with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. This partnership provides assistance to people with disabilities. DRF is a United Way Agency and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities
