About Us

Awards To Remember was founded in January 1983 when owner Robert Smith was a junior in high school. Smith had worked in sales for Oxford Trophy Company during 1982 and purchased the company?s equipment and merchandise in the fall of that year. The company was originally called Robert D. Smith and Co. and began operation in his parents? garage, and then later operated from their basement.
In February 1991, the present building was purchased and extensively renovated by Smith and his family. The company moved to 4017 Alabama Highway 144 in October 1991 and with the move came a change of name to Awards To Remember in order to better reflect the company?s product line.
Awards To Remember has designed and produced thousands of awards over a span of a quarter century.
