Community Conversations About Stroke:
"What Stroke Survivors Need and Want"
The American Heart Association is proud to present: “Community Conversations About Stroke," the 2nd in a series of health topics sponsored by Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden.
The goal of this Community Conversation is to educate stroke survivors and their families about post stroke care and focus on what stroke survivors need and want.
The keynote speaker for this Community Conversation is Richard C. Senelick, M.D., a physician specializing in both neurology and the subspecialty of neurorehabilitation.
He is the Editor in Chief of Encompass Health Press, the publishing arm of one of the nation’s largest rehabilitation hospital systems.
Dr. Senelick writes a blog on health care related issues for the Huffington Post and The Atlantic. In addition, Dr. Senelick is the Stroke Community Expert for WebMD, the largest source of online health information.
