Join Tigers For Tomorrow April 8th & 9th to celebrate the Grand Opening of Untamed Pathway. The Untamed Pathway is a new 410 foot concrete grand entrance to the preserve. The Walkway is speckled with inscribed bricks that supporters have purchased to fund this improvement and runs between the Big Cat Playground and the Barnyard field.
As an environmental education center it’s our job to make our visitors experience here as enjoyable and educational as possible by adding amenities to the preserve without taking funds away from animal care. The project was kicked off 2 years ago when we first decided to offer inscribed bricks to our supporters. As we got closer to reaching our financial goal we reached out to local business and corporations to cover the the additional funds needed. Our corporate sponsors that helped us complete this project include, CA Langford, Gregersons Pharmacy, DeKalb Farmers Cooperative, Advanced Imaging of Gadsden, Jet Pep, Cummings David DDS and Family, The Berman Foundation, and The Sears.
Spring Hours begin March 1st: Open to the public, Friday ,Saturdays and Sundays from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. No reservations are needed.
