The Junior Achievement Bowling Classic is an event in which local companies and organizations get together and bowl to help support Junior Achievement programs in area schools in Etowah County. Excellence in bowling is not needed, enthusiasm is! Teams will bowl on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 6 p.m. Anyone can bowl. Teams are comprised of 5 Bowlers (co-workers, family, friends, church members, etc.) that have a goal to raise at least $100 each for a total of $500 per team, which provides one classroom with JA Programs. Each Bowler pays a $15 non-refundable registration fee to cover bowling expenses, including lane and shoe rental, and an event t-shirt. Each Bowler will collect money either in person or they can use Junior Achievement’s online fundraising website.
