Calling all witches & wizards!
Downtown Hokes Bluff, Maraella Winery, and Modern Woodmen will play host to the wildest and wackiest magical beings for a whimsical Halloween-themed bike ride benefiting Hokes Bluff Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. Modern Woodmen of America is matching the donation!
Witches & wizards dress in their most creative costumes and ride their decorated “broomcycles” through the streets of Hokes Bluff, throwing out candy and small trinkets to children who line up along the posted route. If you don’t feel comfortable riding a bike, you are welcome to purchase a "ghost-rider" ticket and support your fellow broomcycle riders!
Bikes may begin lining up at Maraella Winery at 9:30 AM and the 9-mile (for 9 lives) ride and optional 3-mile Fun Ride will begin at 10:00 AM. It will end back at Maraella Winery, where all riders can enjoy some brew (water, soft drinks, and 1 wine ticket/entry purchase) and some spooky snacks. Please feel free to come early to finish decorating your bikes, but no earlier that 8:30am.
