City of Champions Half Marathon & 5k
The City of Champions Half Marathon & 5k is Gadsden's first road half marathon. You'll be part of history when you run the first annual City of Champions Half Marathon & 5k. Enjoy a moderately challenging run through downtown Gadsden. The run starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company.
The half marathon will begin at 7 A.M., the 5k will begin at 7:30 A.M.. Stick around after awards for the post party hosted by Back Forty Brewing Company. Packet pickup and pre-party Friday November 16th at Back Forty. T-shirt deadline is November 6th.
Half Marathon participants will receive a custom medal when they cross the finish line.
Cash Prizes will be awarded to half marathon top 3 male and female finishers:
- 1st place - $300
- 2nd place - $200
- 3rd place - $100
T-Shirt Deadline: November 6, 2018
First 200 runners will receive a custom Gadsden Runners Club race bag.
Individual age group awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. (5k & half marathon)
